Drew’s State of Writing – October 2014

Standard

It’s been nine months since my last State of Writing update. Back in January, I talked about a lot of the future projects I have planned, and about how I was getting pretty close to finishing All Flames Cast. That…ended up being very wrong. That, among other developments, has me where I am now.

First, All Flames Cast. If you’ve been keeping up with things around here lately, you know that several more chapters have popped up. Continue reading

All Flames Cast – Harael IV

Standard

Another chapter so soon? Crazy, I know. I’ve been really making these sparse for the last while, but with how close I’m getting to finishing, I thought I’d let a couple more trickle out here over the next few weeks. They’ll likely all be Harael chapters. And without further ado, I give you Harael’s fourth chapter…

Two strode behind him, as usual, but he did not need to look at them to know how they would look. Stoic, to a man, the Dragon Guard held his life close and would die on a whim. They were the best in the Empire.

In the Works….

Standard

I’ve had something cooking for a few weeks now, something a little different for me. It’s a new book (no, I’m not abandoning Dreamscape; that’s still an ongoing project), but it’s not a novel. Hopefully, in the next week, I’ll have some new fiction to post on here, and with it will come news on the next book. Stay tuned!
