Sorry for the late post on this one. I was intending to get this out last week, but events conspired against me. This time, though, we do have a Book of the Week. As I said last time when I covered The Final Empire, I’m continuing with my reread of Mistborn, and moving on to Well of Ascension. Next week will feature The Hero of Ages, with The Alloy of Law after that (and keep an eye out for a review of Shadows of Self in early October).
Book of the Week: September 3rd, 2015
StandardHappy Friday, everyone! That’s right—the Book of the Week is getting posted on another Friday. Feel free to shake off your shock at any time. This week, we’re going to talk about what I’m currently (re)reading, why it’s awesome, why the author is awesome, and why I’ll keep coming back—and you should, too.
The Book of the Week is Mistborn: The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson.

For the first time ever, somebody has read a book that I wrote, in its entirety. This is a scary feeling, but pretty exciting, too. Initial reviews were actually pretty good, but one plot line is going to need a lot of work on the next draft. That’s on the backburner, though. Because… Continue reading
Book of the Week: August 21st, 2015
StandardWow, I totally forgot to upload this yesterday. So you get a Book of the Week on a Friday, this time. Anyway, this week we’re doing a bit of a different genre, and going toward the lighter side of things after going really dark with The Real Story last week. This time, the Book of the Week is Rifles for Watie.
